FAMILY GRIEF SUPPORT
Homestead Hospice's commitment to families does not end when the patient passes away. We offer several ways to get the grief support you need.
"The Journey to Healing"
With the help of our Chaplain, we offer a quarterly 6-week bereavement group to anyone in the communities we serve who has suffered a loss. Our program "The Journey of Healing" will help you work through the pain to find a path to healing the soul.
Our families also receive the benefit of our literature from our Chaplain throughout the 13 months after the patient's death. Our Chaplain has put together an inspiring program and is there to answer any questions that might help the family better deal with the loss of their loved one.
Homestead Hospice uses Griefshare.org to assist families in finding local support groups in addition to those offered by the hospice. Please click the link below to go to their website. Once you input your zip code, this site will list the closest support group offered to you. www.griefshare.org
